Episode 187: Run Away!

We begin the Month of Holiday Giving! This week, we have two pattern contests for a potential 6 winners! WIPs include an improvised baby hat, Rye Socks, Spring Cable Socks and the Oxford Hooded Cowl. FOs include Wollmeise Spring Cable socks and a Christmas ornament. Featured baubles and bling this week is a huge box of Cascade Fixation that was gifted to Sheila. We draw a lucky winner of the November KAL at the end.

SHOW NOTES

KAL/CAL:  We will be skipping the December KAL and starting with new themed KALs in January 2015.  Instead we are doing a month of Holiday Giving, and kicking it off with two new pattern giveaways!

We drew a winner of the November KAL!

We introduced two new contests:

Scrappy Christmas Baubles (by Rachel Kluesner) PDF contest:  Tell us what you would write on an ornament designed with this pattern!  We will draw a winner next week on Episode 188.

Diamond Cut Fingerless Mitts (by Kelene Kinnersley) PDF contest:  One of each of the patterns featured in this collection will be given away.  Tell us which Diamond Cut is your favorite and/or which Dyeabolical Highlighter color you would use to make yours.

Your donations will be given by Lise to the Hope for Kids charity in western Mass.  This program was started by a former police officer and his family, and they offer assistance to families in need at homeless shelters.
